Summary: Tanwen and Naike seeing their subjects.
Tanwen has been taught patience, and she's very good at dealing with rude people. Naike, on the other hand, looks as though he is about to have a nervous breakdown. She asks Nyali to go run to the kitchens and get him an apple while Naike is speaking nervously to a young Tsunyata woman.
'Neri,' he says, tapping her on the arm. 'This one's for you.'
The young woman bows. 'I would like to say thank you, and that I admire you for taking this opportunity. May you be blessed, gypsy woman.'
Tanwen smiles and touches the woman's shoulder. 'Thanks.'

Summary:



This is the second time my computer has shut down on me today, and I've lost the second drabble twice now. I'm irritated - I really liked it, too. More than the first.

My head is so wrapped up in the Shanri Empire that I'm switching my drabble focus over there - I can't think about D'Sezan anymore, so I haven't been doing the prompts.

I do like that Naike calls her 'Neri', instead of 'Nenkantenrion' or even 'Nerion'. It's cute.
