1. Amy is a travel writer now. YES see this makes SO MUCH MORE SENSE than being a model.

2. Rory the nurse!

3. The Doctor mowing the lawn and painting the fence in an hour

4. The cubes, oh my god. The cubes were brilliant, they made me really happy. I love love love love love these self-contained, wacky adventures. They feel more like they've got the best parts of RTD's era.

5. The amount of people kissing each other in this episode made me so happy. Especially Rory kissing the Doctor for bringing him and Amy to France.

6. Amy dressing up for the occasion to go to France.

7. The lovely, wonderful interplay between the real world and the Doctor's relationship with the Ponds throughout the entire episode was flawless.

8. The scene with the Doctor and Amy sitting together was fantastic. I LOVE the way Matt Smith does the Doctor's monologues. I doubt anything will ever beat his monologue to Alfie in Closing Time, because that was just wow, but that scene was beautiful.

9. The nod to the Brigadier made me happy, too, and I thought it was appropriate and not overdone.

10. THE WHOLE IDEA OF THE CUBES, HOLY BEJESUS.

Things I Didn't Get

1. I still don't care about Rory's dad and wish we got more of Amy's parents instead.

2. What the everliving fuck was up with the masked doctors? They scared me and I didn't know why.
