Aaaah NaNoWriMo Aaaaaaah

That is my feelings, all of them. I'm handwriting, so I can't exactly update my progress, but I cut Reed, Neil, and Evangeline from my cast. They weren't serving any particular purpose other than to fill a quota, which quickly became apparent by the time I hit 7k. So they're gone now. The plot thickens as the magic disappears, and Kephri catches sight of Violet during the time that the apocalypse whips her magic out of shape and allows her true form to be visible. Kephri goes insane trying to comprehend what the hell she actually is, while Alanna, having been given the merest glimpse of what she's like, keeps hemp on her person at all times.

And then, along with a remorseful Eldritch Abomination in tow, the eight of them (including Kephri) go off to explore Kephri's mind. Alanna maps it for them, she is basically their map, and they're inside his personal world looking for the place, object, or association that represents the insanity that Violet has caused. What the find when they get there, however ... on the way, they find the 'god mode' center, and they then go on to explore each of their minds for their own 'god centers'. With these, they create the new world.

Oh, this is grand. I'm in favor. It makes no fucking sense.
