all-encompassing supernatural playlist

Kicking off the new year with music! Woo! I have here the condensed, canon-applicable only version of the hundred-track Supernatural playlist on my computer. (I free-associate with everything. The playlist for my novel is nearly as bad.) It goes roughly in chronological order, from the first season to the seventh. No cover, because I am cringe-worthily bad at Photoshop and badly done photoshop covers embarrass me vicariously.
Seven Seasons in Twenty-Five Songs
Send Me On My Way — Rusted Root (pilot)
well, pick me up with golden hand
i may see you, I may tell you to run
nobody safe, nobody on
Come On Home — Franz Ferdinand (season 1)
you're where you want to be,
i'm where I want to be
come on, we're chasing everything we've ever wanted
Blindness — Metric (dean)
what it is and where it stops nobody knows
you gave me a life i never chose
i want to leave but the world won't let me go
Wouldn't Mama Be Proud — Elliott Smith (season 1)
if I send you postcards from the side of the road
photographs of moving parts about to implode
if I call to keep it together like you say you know I can do
to transmit a moment from me to you
When Anger Shows — Editors (sam)
these thoughts I must not think of
dreams I cant make sense of
i need you to tell me it's OK
Let Me In — The Unseen Guest (season 2)
let me in, let me in, or i'll blow your house down
let me in, let me in, 'cause there's snow on the ground
i won't wait here forever and then you will see
you should never say never 'cause i sow what you reap
Into the Fire — Thirteen Senses (season 2)
come on, come on
put your hands into the fire
My Body Is A Cage — Peter Gabriel (dean)
my body is a cage that keeps me
from dancing with the one I love
but my mind holds the key
Comeback Kid — Sleigh Bells (ruby)
i know it's hard but
you've gotta deal with it
why don't you look around
show me what you're made of
don't turn around
go get your gun ready
everyday there's a way to do it just right
Has Anyone Seen My Wings — The New Amsterdams (castiel)
i'm a saint on a mission from the head man
you got shoes start running boy leave him to us
leave them in your dust
Oh Darlin, What Have I Done? — The White Buffalo (season 3)
i've been a stray from you too long
and all my days have turned to darkness
hell is leaving the light on
The Difference Between Us — The Dead Weather (season 4)
let's go walk to the border
let's go walk along the edge
let's go when no one can see us
and find the difference between us
Pagan Angel and a Borrowed Car — Iron & Wine (gabriel)
i was still a beggar shaking out my stolen coat
among the angry cemetery leaves
when they caught the king beneath the borrowed car
righteous, drunk, and fumbling for the royal keys
The Good Soldier — Nine Inch Nails (season 4)
blood hardens in the sand
cold metal in my hand
hope you understand the way that things are gonna be
Dragon's Song — Blitzen Trapper (season 4 finale)
hands raised high through the gathering haze
let the sun burn through to the ancient of days
you are half my heart set apart till the end of the age
In the Branches — The Builders and the Butchers (season 5)
the AM crackin', the coming storms
the economy and crime
the grey brain matter swelled up tight
a free man's doing time this time
Always Gold — Radical Face (season 5 finale)
we were tight knit boys
brothers in more then name
you would kill for me
and knew that I'd do the same
and it cut me sharp
hearing you'd gone away
but everything goes away
After the Storm — Mumford & Sons (interim year)
there will come a time, you'll see, with no more tears.
and love will not break your heart, but dismiss your fears.
get over your hill and see what you find there,
with grace in your heart and flowers in your hair.
Bad Moon Rising — Creedence Clearwater Revival (season 6)
hope you have got your things together
hope you are quite prepared to die
Personal Jesus — Johnny Cash (castiel)
take second best,
put me to the test,
things on your chest,
you need to confess,
i will deliver,
you know i'm a forgiver
Speed the Collapse — Metric (leviathans)
distant lightning, thunderclaps
watched our neighbor's house collapse
looked the other way
Sunflowers — Everclear (sam)
when you were a child, you were happy and free
you were my reason to live, i would die when you smiled at me
i can still see you painting flowers on the wall
i remember you happy, i remember it all
All the Distant Ships — Electric President (the born-again identity)
it passed through me into you
used our blood as the glue
their hands pulled me into the earth
where i laid while they figured my worth
Eat the Rich — Aerosmith (dick roman)
and I just can't see no humour
about your way of life
and I think I can do more for you
with this here fork and knife
Go To Sleep — The Avett Brothers (all angst, all the time)
lay back, lay back, go to sleep my man
wipe the blood from you face and your hands
forgive yourself if you think that you can
go to sleep, go to sleep my man
Notes: Send Me On My Way, Come On Home, and Wouldn't Mama Be Proud, I didn't think of these - I actually, I downloaded these fantastic playlists from here which were specific to seasons one and two, and these three songs, I incorporated into my mental playlist, so I added them here because they are perfect. I just wanted to cover my bases and make sure I'm crediting correctly.
