Summary: Reed's perspective on overthrowing the New Order
It should have been a day of celebration, and going out to bars, and heady parties that involved tearing down statues and ripping up pamphlets. For many people, it is, and Reed can't begrudge them that. Her purpose is to give people reason to celebrate, while she goes to funerals and then invites her comrades over to her house. Up to now, she has made a point of separating personal life from her work, but right now she needs their fire-forged companionship. All five of them cram into her living room and carefully don't talk about the past two years.
'Fire-forged' is such a cliché, isn't it?
I hope Neil doesn't die ...
